The Prague-based Vik Brewery started brewing in 2020 with the firm conviction to remain authentic, uncompromised and at the same time innovative. Just in four years they became famous with their authentic Gose-style beers (an old German beer style born in Goslar) to the extent they are considered one of leading Gose influencers in the country with very likely the Best Gose you can get out of the Czech Republic! There is much more than Gose though, with IPAs (especially East Coast), stouts, many collabs and obviously Czech lagers. Many beers are commonly aged in wooden barrels.

Authentic Gose-styled beer
Balanced saltiness, typical lemon-lime acidity and the taste of coriander create a light and dangerously drinkable beer. We use kettle souring which takes time and much care, a method where the wort is cooled while still in the brewhouse and inoculated with lactobacilli, which lower the beer's PH, multiply for several days and release lactic acid. This method gives the resulting beer its typical and unmistakable taste. Dirt Devil is a classic pure version without added fruit. Clean beer that will please every Gose-style fan. It has been selected for the World Beer Cup 2024.

Essentially smooth consistency with a very pleasant smooth aroma, strong full-bodied flavor. This beer has has a fragrant thick malt body complemented by a less bitter finish and a velvety tropical flavor with notes of pineapple and tropical fruit, melon and stone fruit. East Coast IPAs have grown in popularity over the past few years. Brewing it properly involves biotransformation, a process that occurs when hops are added to specific yeast strains used on the East Coast. This makes our East Coast IPA deliciously juicy and hazy.
