Held at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London on Thursday 19th September 2024, the packed agenda included beer and wine tastings, live cooking demonstrations, Czech pouring masterclasses and raffle, as well as live music and performances.

This was the first time when we joined forces with the combi owen specialist Retigo and according to many, the result was the best „Czech Beer Celebration“ ever! Retigo Executive Chefs Danny Burns and Phil Smith provided regular live cooking demonstrations throughout the day serving up Czech favourites and other mouth-watering treats whilst B2B visitors had access to lagers and ales from 8 independent breweries with a plethora of products on offer, either on tap or in cans & bottles. The beer pouring masterclasses were hosted by Michal from ToMo Tankovna in Maidenhead.
The afternoon kicked-off with a few words from the Czech Ambassador, Marie Chatardova, followed by Retigo UK Managing Director, Aneta Jaruskova, and Martin Macourek, CzechTrade Beer Ambassador, before an afternoon of Czech hospitality commenced in a glorious late summer sunshine.
Our guests immersed themselves in Czech beer culture and mastered the famous “Czech pour” and it was a great opportunity for buyers to overview what the Czech independent beer scene can offer. Indeed all presented brews are proudly distributed by the Czech Beer Alliance UK and available on either regular orders (permanent taps) or pre-orders.
